Returns & Refund Policy
Because LiuHe Curio deals in unique works of art, antiques, scholar’s objects, and collector’s items, returns are not handled in the same manner as mass-market consumer goods.
General Policy
Sales are generally final.
However, if an item arrives materially different from its description, or arrives with significant transit damage, please contact us promptly so that we can review the matter.
Contact Window
If you believe there is a serious issue with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery whenever possible. Include:
-
Your order number
-
A description of the issue
-
Clear photographs of the object
-
Photographs of the packaging and shipping label where relevant
Material Difference from Description
A return, partial refund, repair discussion, or other reasonable solution may be considered where, after review, we conclude that an item is materially different from the description provided on the website.
Normal age-related wear, firing variation, patina, inclusions, restorations, glaze irregularities, and other condition characteristics disclosed in the listing or visible in the photographs will not normally be treated as grounds for return.
Transit Damage
If an item appears to have been damaged in transit, retain all packaging materials and contact us promptly. We may require photographs and cooperation in connection with a carrier claim or shipping review.
No Returns for Change of Mind
We do not accept returns based solely on change of mind, buyer’s remorse, preference after receipt, or a later decision that the object does not suit a particular interior or collecting plan.
No Cancellation After Dispatch
Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled.
Refund Method
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Return Authorization
No return should be sent without prior written authorization from us. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Questions Before Purchase
We encourage buyers to request additional photographs, condition details, or clarifications before purchase, especially for higher-value or specialized objects.
